Public bug reported:

I'm sure this must be reported elsewhere but I can't find it?

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T510 with an Nvidia Quadro NVS 3100m.

I did a clean install of Ubuntu 10.04, and selected the Nvidia driver in
jockey. When I restarted I get an X error message saying that I need to
run the OS in low graphics mode.

When I have booted, I look in Nvidia settings and see that the driver is
not installed. If I do sudo nvidia-xconfig and then restart this doesn't
make any difference.

I'm reduced to returning to the nouveau driver for now, but need 3D
acceleration et al.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
