It didn't solve the issue for me. I know that thing clogs on my Dell laptop, I clean it twice a year! I just opened it up and cleaned it out. But it was obvious that this would not help from the beginning, as heat is not the issue here. The wavy external monitor happens on a cold boot, and only affects the video out (the builtin screen works fine). > Please, also read this abount monitor > flicker: > This is not flicker, that problem was solved.
