Hi Henning I tried your workaround but had no success. Could it be the bios version? I have: dmi.bios.date: 05/07/2009 dmi.bios.vendor: Phoenix dmi.bios.version: V0.3213
What is the output of: grep . /sys/class/dmi/id/bios_* on your system? Or does it have to say "Linux" or 'Linux'? Or do I have to enable something else in addition to the boot parameters?
