However, I forgot to mention, that I haven't experienced this for a longer time & now, as I have switched to 10.04, I haven't experienced it so far. Even the order of the icons in notification area seems stable, and playing games in fullscreen thru wine won't mess them up either, so there has been some progress, certainly!
