I just reproduced the bug again, but this time I did a 'find
/media/media' (mounted cifs fs) instead of using the GUI.

This time my whole machine didn't lock up, but in top I noticed the find
was using "100%" cpu, but hadn't made it past '/media/media/music'.

I also ran a tcpdump from the fileserver, which shows the cifs client
continually running this on each of the sym links.
