This doesn't look like a patch against grub specifically, it looks like
a helper script that simply adds a the CD-ROM drive, and doesn't touch
the package directly. That being said, having an ability to directly
boot ISOs without having to burn them seems like an exceeding useful
thing to have during image testing.

(https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-qa), or on Freenode
(channel #ubuntu-quality) who will work with you to include your script
with the Ubuntu QA tools.
