Public bug reported:
Trying to boot (using PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-111D) the latest Feisty live CD (64
bit) gives errors like:
ata2.00 failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x104)
After waiting some time; booting continues but hans at:
Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision 3.20
I'm using a Asus P5W-DH Deluxe using the Intel ICH7R disk controler. In BIOS I
enable AHCI. Turning off AHCI make booting go perfectly. Obviously; there
support for AHCI is not available.
(I disabled the Jmicron JMB363-controller in the BIOS)
** Affects: Ubuntu
Importance: Undecided
