I'm affected by this bug on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit machine. I've upgraded to Lucid by doing a fresh install, but leaving my Home folder from Karmic which was on a separate partition (with Ubuntu One folder in it).
I now see a gray icon with an exclamation mark on Ubuntu One folder and all files and folders within it.
