I could reproduce the bug.
I tried almost all combinations:
with/without p7zip
with/without p7zip-full
one/more files
encrypting filenames or not
When p7zip-full is installed there is no problem.
When only p7zip is installed I get the same bug.
When none is installed I don't see a .7z option.
