Binary package hint: cups
The cups service on my fresh 10.04 install is not executed during system
start-up, in fact it looks like none of the old sysV init-scripts gets
executed, including rc.local.
I have to other installs that i upgraded from karmic where everything
runs fine.
There is nothing in cups' error-log and the service can be started
manually with /etc/init.d/cups start .
Seems to me that something might be missing that triggers the old init-
scripts, i found several other people in the forums with the same
problem, but no solution for this so far.
Cups-Version is 1.4.3-1.
