Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: grub2
Info should be added automatically. Failure occurred whilst running
update manager. Nb. This is a Wubi installation and Ubuntu boots from
an Easybcd generated menu (which works). However, I run Karmic in a
dedicated partition - sda5. By default the computer boots to a Grub2
menu which loads Karmic by default unless I select (from that Grub2)
sda2 which is the Windows loader. I am then offered the Eacybcd choice
of Windows or Ubuntu (Lucid). If I select Ubuntu I am offered a grub
menu from which Lucid will load by default. In other words, each of my
two ubuntu installations has its own grub menu - not by my design, but
because that's what each installation program does automatically!
