Thank  you for your reply but I am a newbie and I have no idea what your
talking  about when you say "mount  file  system  with  -o mand"  and how
exactly  do I "mount  /var/run with  the  mand option"?  Can you tell me
each  step what to  type  in Terminal?  Thanks  again.   Thomas
