Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libasound2

I've updated to Ubuntu 10.04 from Ubuntu 9.10 and now the audio output
is heavyly distorted and softer. I've disabled pulseaudio (commented out
the pulse.conf in /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf) and checked that the
pulseaudio daemon isn't running, but the problems isn't solved. So I
suppose that it's an alsa problem.

My hardware configuration is an Intel D945GCLF2 (Atom 330 processor)
with includes a Realtek ALC662 Rev1 codec.

** Affects: alsa-lib (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
