It has been a long time ago I faced this bug and was unable to give the asked
information. Recently I tried to do a fresh install of mythbuntu 10.04 and
faced a problem which looks exactly like this one.
During installation, when it comes to locale installation, the computer just
crashes. I don´t really know if this is a coincident or it might be hardware
related, but it is not very likely that it crashes always at the exact same
position if there is a hardware related problem.
If you tell me how I should provide you with information during
installation process ending in a hardlock, I try to give you needed
information to point out, if this is really the same bug.
