This is because the site implements it wrong:
"<link rel="icon" type="image/x-icon" href="/favicon.ico" />"
should be
"<link rel='shortcut icon' href="/favicon.ico" />"
Other browsers might show it because they try harder to find favicons at
website's root, but you should open a new bug for that.
