Public bug reported:

Hi, I do not need the full Ubuntu 9.10 (Desktop) to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
upgrade; all I need are:

1. Upgrade ONCE every year
2. Upgrade the Kernel for security reasons
3. Upgrade to MONO so that it becomes a full SDK, IDE etc
4. The Open Dylan Software Development System
5. The BASH Shell
6. Open Office (latest)
7. A choice between GNOME or KDE (desktops)
8. A default choice of MySQL or InnoDB databases
9. All essential utilities and system software
10. The FireStarter firewall
11. Mathematical Software such as Euler

Regards.
