Binary package hint: mythtv
I have recently done a clean install of Mythbuntu 10.04 on my media PC.
It has a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 4 PCI sound card, which was
working fine in Mythbuntu 9.10.
The only way for me to get sound working properly in MythTV was to
select "ALSA (Default)" as the device, "Software" as the mixer and to
add the following line to /home/me/.bashrc:
export DEBUG_PULSE_AUDIO_ALSA_EMULATION=1
