Resume from suspend doesn't work for me either, im have a presario CQ60 with AMD Athlonx 64 X2. Resume from hibernate works.
Whats reaallly annoying is that when i attempt to resume from suspend 4 humongous beeps quickly blast from my speaker and then nothing - screen blank, though there are activity lights on my computer.
