As far as I'm aware, there's no special firewall setup on my machine. It's a dual boot machine - one disk with XP, the other with Lucid 10.04. My installation of 10.04 is stock-standard - I haven't tweaked any special settings, and neither did I do so when I had 8.04 LTS running (it worked fine!).
On a related note, I tried to download addons several times using Konqueror (i.e., by right-clicking in order to save to disk), but the error message I get is "Could not connect to host releases.mozilla.org: Socket operation timed out." I've even tried lynx, but to no avail! -- Firefox is unable to download add-ons (download error -228) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573404 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
