Binary package hint: martian-modem
The martian-modem daemon creates the /dev/pts/1 device with permissions
0620 and root:dialout. Adding users to dialout group to allow them to
use the modem does not work because the dialout group does not have read
access to the device. Attached are changes to the /etc/default/martian-
modem and /etc/init.d/martian-modem scripts.
