I am having this same issue. I have evolution running and set up with
four different IMAP accounts. To test it out I sent some emails to these
accounts. The emails appear as unread emails in the respective inboxes
in evolution, however nothing appears in the indicator applet, nor does
a notification bubble appear to tell me a new email has arrived.
Please let me know if you you require any log files etc that might help
with this bug.
