Thank you!!!!! Actually I am absolute beginner in Ubuntu. Nikolay -- I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 on an Apple Macintosh desktop computer. For some reason there is no sound coming from the internal speakers. I don't think the Ubuntu software sound drive works on the integrated intel sound card.
