Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: libc6
In Edgy, I want to exec a program using the old pthreads implementation
linuxthreads.
So, I exec it using the environment variable
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.16
Whenever I try to run it, I get the following message:
error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory
I think that executing programs with old linuxthreads implementation is
needed for developers, so we can test how a program behaves in other
environments.
** Affects: glibc (Ubuntu)
Importance: Untriaged
Status: Unconfirmed
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: libc6
