The issue still exists in 10.04 (with a clean install) and I've included
new logs for this. I was also able to reproduce the issue on a second
machine which also had a clean install of 10.04.

I'd like to clarify the issue. I have no trouble mounting *data* DVD-Rs
or commercial DVD Videos. The issue is that recorded DVD-Rs in DVD Video
format no longer mount -- the icon does not appear on the desktop. In
/media, a new directory DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER appears (with
DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER being the label of each of my DVD-R Videos) but the
directory is empty.

The DVD-Rs in question mount in 8.10 but not in 9.10 or 10.04 (I did not
try 9.04), so this appears to be a regression.

This is not an imporant issue for me. I reported the issue in an effort
to help make Ubuntu better.
