hello Vish I did some checking for you. I just updated to 10.4 (lovely!), and made some video recordings. Results are varied, but i feel that there is still a problem. Longer video's succeed, but every 3ed recording or so yields a corrupt file (a generic movie icon is displayed and when you click on it the player opens showing part of the first frame or something like that. Also the 'start recording' button gets 'inactive' state with first recording, which is not reset. Recording can be restarted using the space bar.
So: no more crashes, but quite a lot of corrupt video files. this is all with the default settings. I also notice that when you click the 'effect' button you do get the effect choice view, but clicking it again does not hide it. That's it for now. if you want more specific details or want me to try some specif stuff, let me know. regards, Ernst 2010/5/8 Vish <[email protected]>: > Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make > Ubuntu better.
