** Description changed: I upgraded from 9.10 to 10.04 and I've noticed that the battery life has gone down. This laptop was bought in October and Power Manager indicates that I have 86% capacity. When I get warnings that I have only 45 minutes remaining this is usually false and the battery can be drained in as little as 15 minutes. - My computer is a Dell Studio 1555: Pentium Dual Core - T4300(2.1GHz,800MHz,1MB), 4096MB 800MHz DDR2 Dual Channel, 512 MB ATI - Mobility RADEON HD 4570 + My computer is a Dell Studio 1555: Pentium Dual Core T4300(2.1GHz,800MHz,1MB), 4096MB 800MHz DDR2 Dual Channel, 512 MB ATI Mobility RADEON HD 4570 + --- + AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.21. + Architecture: i386 + ArecordDevices: + **** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices **** + card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: STAC92xx Analog [STAC92xx Analog] + Subdevices: 1/1 + Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 + AudioDevicesInUse: + USER PID ACCESS COMMAND + /dev/snd/controlC0: hellocatfood 1808 F.... pulseaudio + /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p: hellocatfood 1808 F...m pulseaudio + CRDA: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory + Card0.Amixer.info: + Card hw:0 'Intel'/'HDA Intel at 0xfc500000 irq 22' + Mixer name : 'IDT 92HD73C1X5' + Components : 'HDA:111d7675,102802be,00100103' + Controls : 16 + Simple ctrls : 10 + Card1.Amixer.info: + Card hw:1 'HDMI'/'HDA ATI HDMI at 0xfc010000 irq 17' + Mixer name : 'ATI R6xx HDMI' + Components : 'HDA:1002aa01,00aa0100,00100100' + Controls : 4 + Simple ctrls : 1 + Card1.Amixer.values: + Simple mixer control 'IEC958',0 + Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined penum + Playback channels: Mono + Mono: Playback [on] + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 + Frequency: Once a day. + HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=e32470df-4c7e-4966-bc98-f9c810b99e0c + MachineType: Dell Inc.
