** Description changed:
Why should we need to download a new cd everytime there is a new Ubuntu
release. For me it's not really a problem, but it would be convenient to
use the same cd over and over again. And for new users or users getting
their CD from a magazine or book it may be of great impotence, they
might even not know that they don't got the latest and greatest. My
proposal is that if a networkconnection is detected when launching the
liveCD installer, it checks wheter this CD contains the latest Ubuntu
release. If not, it could present the uses with a dialog like this:
WARNING
The CD you are installing from is outdated. It is
- recommendet to use the latest release, do you
- want to automaticly download and install the
- latest vesion? Installing from the net may take
- longer time than installing from the CD depending
- on your internet connection.

[ Yes, install latest Ubuntu ] [ No, use this CD ]
I they answer yes, then just download the latest installer script and do
a network install using it.
