Hi Bryce, as i have written i have found this bug with a fresh installation of Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. Not an earlier version.
There where several problems that seems not to be solved. So some days ago i dropped all my configuration work and made a new fresh installation. This time it looks better, but up to now i didn't install the NVIDIA drivers. I will do this in the next days. Then i will retest if a crash will occur on logout.
