This was a problem for me,too. I found a workaround. 
Let the installer do the partitioning for you on the first free partition. You 
can select this as an option while installing.The installer will create then 1 
bootstrap, 1 rootfs and 1 swap partition. Unfortunatly the swap partition size 
will be the half of you ram.
