The fix didn't fix fully the problem on kubuntu 10.04 64bit. Now the screen is at 1024*768 (or something similar), but it still ugly on a 1440*900 panel for example. I think that manual workaround cannot be considered a solution for the mass public, which can fix it only through an official update from the ubuntu repo. Is something more coming or that's all?
