I don't think the AVI's are corrupt as they play perfectly in Hardy, Jaunty & Karmic. Also, they play perfectly with VLC Media player. The video starts to play, but is very jerky & fast for 2-3 seconds with no sound. Then I get the error message as mentioned above.
