Without additional information, this simply looks like postfix was not
running.
Upstart does not allow "restart" or "reload" if the service was not
running, restart will never start a service.
If this happens again, please run "status postfix" after getting the
error - don't use the "service" wrapper which comes from sysvinit, not
Upstart
