No, this is not a typo. "tar xfvz <file>.tar.gz" works, but "tar -xfvz
<file>.tar.gz" fails with
tar: vz: Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Therefore I mark this bug as invalid.
