Kaarel: This bug is a) a dupliate of bug 551290 and all discussion about
low res splash should be done there, and this bug *only* tracks low res
splash, if you can't boot to the login screen with the nvidia drivers,
please file a new bug with 'ubuntu-bug nvidia-current' (or nvidia-173,
nvidia-96 if you're using legacy drivers)
