I was affected also, upgrading Hardy -> Lucid (32-bit) on Thinkpad T41. sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/flashplugin-nonfree.prerm sudo dpkg --remove --force-remove-reinstreq flashplugin-nonfree sudo dpkg --purge --force-remove-reinstreq flashplugin-nonfree
worked. Then from from Synaptic I selected Adobe Flashplugin and installed no errors. Now I'm updating the system via "update manager" and it is completed. gotta reboot now. thanks for the workaround. -- broken packaging: package flashplugin-nonfree 10.0.22.87ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: (breaks upgrade) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/429841 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
