@ Marc Poulhiès: I myself am running Lucid on an EEE 1000 PC. You would
do well to look at the postings in the Networking section of
ubuntuforums.org. I'm sure you'll find the solution there. I've also
posted on how I did a clean install of Lucid on the netbook.
