Hi there, I have been exploring Launchpad following the email I received
about your previous comment and found this page. Firstly I should
apologise for not replying sooner - being new to Ubuntu and the
community I wanted to do my part and report the bug but didn't know how
to follow it up....

I have since upgraded to 10.04 Lucid after reporting the bug and am
having no troubles with Ubuntu One (apart from not knowing when it is
syncing or the actual progress other than "synchronisation in progress"
- but those are probably other issues...)

The upgrade suggested by yourself above, and subsequent distribution
upgrade seems to have worked - do you or I mark this complete? Again
apologies for the slow reply.
