Thanks for following up on this. I only received the error the one time. The box that received it has been apt-get upgraded (dist-upgrade after 10.04's official release) everyday since the error. Currently running Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid) on Linux kernel 2.6.32-22-generic. Seems to be very stable for me.
