Hello,

Yes, with the latest kernel (2.6.34-999-generic #201005121008), it works now
: it does not hang at shutdown anymore on my Acer laptop.

One point : now at boot, I have this message :

ata1:Softreset failed (device not ready)

But it seems to be harmless as the system boots : do you know the meaning of
this message ?

Regards,
