Do you still have this problem on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid)?
I noticed it definitely works under Gnome, but maybe there is still an
issue under KDE, on Gnome if you change the preferred web browser
application from Firefox to Chromium it automatically works for OOo. So
if it still does not for KDE then I need look closer at why it is
working differently for KDE.
