Argh, it's intermittent for me, I can't get myself into the buggy state
again now after running in the older kernel for a day! I'll post fresh
logs if symptoms return. JohnAspinall, perhaps you can queue up fresh
logs when you're experiencing buggy behavior.

You can report the kernel bug using the "ubuntu-bug" tool. General guidelines
are here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs

>From the command line (or in a run dialog), assuming you're running the
latest generic kernel (2.6.32-22-generic), run:

ubuntu-bug linux-image-2.6.32-22-generic

You should run this while experiencing symptoms with hope that evidence
of the problem will appear in the logs. I don't know of a way to get
this bug reporting tool to attach reports to an existing bug; you may as
well post it as a new bug.
