but LANG is for language, not for "numbers, dates and currency amounts". Is it possible to keep a $LANG as $LANGUAGE? I'm Italian and I want to have Italian numbers, dates and currency amounts, but the interface in English. Setting English in the language tab and Italian in the text tab does not work for some apps (firefox, openoffice, amule)
