I think this may be due to an old saved session.

I noticed in your XsessionErrors.txt file you had:

gnome-session[2704]: WARNING: Could not launch application
'107f6475e7bc41cea3126599828048265200000016900024.desktop': Unable to
start application: Kindprozess »/usr/bin/compiz.real« konnte nicht
ausgeführt werden (No such file or directory)

I had this problem too. It looks like the program /usr/bin/compiz.real
does not exist in Lucid anymore.

The following solved the problem for me:

rm -f .config/gnome-session/saved-session/*

If you have vital information in your GNOME saved sessions, perhaps you
could edit the saved-session files to replace "compiz.real" with
"compiz" instead.
