Did so and symptom remains. But it does not suppress for anything anymore. For every session login or logout event sound, pulseaudio suppresses about 20 events. For every first start of a busy spd-say probably per session, pulseaudio gives me up to 560 suppressed events while sound cracks noticeably. For repeated operations seemingly no suppressions take place anymore.
I don't know if that relates, but after beginning screen darkening while idle in some specific javaws application playing a voice stream, sound becomes and remains reproducibly cracky too until restart of that app. In this case nothing is in the logs. -- broken sound: ratelimit.c is suppressing lots of sound events https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566090 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
