Hi perezcuesta. I had a quick look at Bug #540579 as you mentioned it prevents you upgrading to 10.04. That bug has now been fixed in an update - however that is a bit off-topic for this report ;)
After testing the U1 Beta PPA packages, please report whether they resolve your issue or not. If they do not, please follow the procedure outline in comment #4 to upload a zipped copy of your ubuntu one logs to help with further debugging.
