in the meantime I resolves the problem in a different way:
I completely uninstalled OOo and installed the version downloaded from 
the OOo site
everything works wonderful, odf import as well as the presentation optimizer
unfortunately at this point it has now more sense to do the operation 
you asking me. Sorry!
