Exactly what I wrote here two years ago. Now it is clear, that for me at least, having grey bars all over the place is extremely annoying and distracting. Is there anybody out there that actually appreciates them (see also the two links to discussion of it I sent two years ago)? What's the exact use of highlighting spaces? Thus if the default is useless and annoying, then why not change it to a sane default (ie. invert it: default:off, switching on is possible)? *t Btw. you set the status to invalid. What's invalid about my wish? Why not set it to Won't Fix instead? -- please switch off space highlighting in changelogs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/268474 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
