Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. raise(3) is implemented by using tkill, so what you see
is the expected behaviour. If you add "kill(getpid(), SIGHUP);" after
the raise and adjust the handler appropriately, you will get the SI_USER
signal code. I am closing whis report because it doesn't look like a
bug. Please reopen it if necessary, and don't hesitate to submit bug
reports in the future. To reopen the bug report you can click on the
current status, under the Status column, and change the Status back to
"New". Thanks again!
