Public bug reported:

i Have a 2 gigahertz processor i gig of ram have been using Super OS
9.10 for several months with no problems love it but if I try to upgrade
to 10.04 LTS through the update manager it seems to download and install
everything OK but when it asks me to reboot to finish the install it
will not reboot from the hard drive it goes into a command line format
asking for my login name and password but will not allow me to type in
my password the keys won't enter any numbers so I have to reinstall the
9.10 version again I've tried it at least 4 times always the same. I
even made an installation disk with 10.04 LTS and it did the same thing.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
