Yes, there should be enough memory (1 Gbyte) and swap (1,3 Gbyte). Right now the memory usage is around 560 Mbyte and swap usage is around 15 Mbyte.
It is probably not Firefox itself, as you are saying, but some resources it is using, which get stressed.
